At Southwest Kids Dentistry, we believe that every child should receive personalized care tailored to their needs in a kid-friendly environment. Each child should receive the education needed to maintain a lifetime of excellent oral health in a family-centered way. Our team, led by Pediatric Dentist Kyla Hollen DMD, MPH, is here to support you and your child in building the foundation for a lifetime of oral health.

After graduation, Dr. Hollen moved to rural Missouri where she obtained a Master’s in Public Health degree that provided her with the resources to develop community programs geared towards improving the oral health of school children and preparing expectant teenage mothers to care for the oral health of their babies. Dr. Hollen completed her pediatric dentistry specialty training through Lutheran Medical Center which partnered with Tucson area training sites. She and her husband fell in love with the area and decided to call Tucson home for good. Dr. Hollen enjoys working with the community and welcomes invitations to participate in volunteer opportunities.
Dr. Hollen is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Her areas of focus include: prevention, treatment, and assisting those with special needs, and believes in using current technology to deliver excellent care.

Director’s notes:
I visited Dr. Hollen to run a story on her in a monthly dental journal I design, proof, and publish called Inscriptions. We planned on having me just ask a few questions and taking some promotional photos of her and her team. However, having a little more time than we thought, I asked if Dr. Hollen would like me to shoot a quick impromptu promotional video or her practice. I didn’t have tripods, Cstands, or most the gear that I typically use, but we made it work. See additional dental videos I’ve done at or
